Corn going into the ground today in a small block to allow for wind to do the pollination.

This is another homemade contraption to try to prevent the local city animals from ripping up those tasty kernels and seedlings. Just some chicken wire attached to two-by-fours but it does the job until they're big enough for the neighborhood creatures to leave them alone.
